  1. For Memorial Day, we went to the little program that Orem City put on. It was pretty cool. I always appreciate the 'day off', but it is especially great when we take a minute or two to celebrate the actual holiday. Orem City's program was all about veterans and we got to watch them change out all the flags for each division of the military and then the American Flag. We sang the National Anthem and God Bless America. That's all Jackson could handle, so we left after that. It was nice to take a few minutes to show our respect, support and appreciation for those who have gone before us and for those who've fought defending our liberty.

A few weekends ago, we went to Boise for my cousin, Stephanie's wedding. It is always SO good to see her and her family, and I am so happy that she has found such a great companion. She and her new husband, Brian, looked so happy and in love. On our way home, we stopped in Salt Lake for Trevor and Jen's wedding reception. Sooo fun to see them TWICE in a month. If I told you how unusual that is, you'd think we were more dysfunctional than we are....so I won't. :) The icing on top was seeing Kaylee there too. She is such a sweet little girl. I love seeing her!

For our anniversary we went up to Park City where we have a timeshare at a pretty nice place. We can get huge rooms there for SUPER cheap (let us know if you're ever up for a vacation in Park City - we'd love to oblige!). While we were there, we took Jackson on his first swim....we were at the pool for a total of about 5 minutes. Even though the water was bathtub-warm, it seemed like Jackson was getting cold, so we went back to our room. Cute pictures though. :)

Jackson was blessed almost a month ago - April 26th. The Saturday before, my WHOLE family came over for a little barbeque. It was sooo great to see everyone, especially my big brothers and their families. We got to meet Trevor's wife for the first time and saw our sweet Kaylee, who is the first Wilkins grandchild. She is just adorable.

On Sunday, we had so much support from our friends and family and lots of people showed up for the blessing at 9am. Jeff gave a short, but powerful blessing and afterwards everyone came to our house for a little breakfast. It rained a lot that day, so we didn't get to spend much time outside like we'd planned, but it turned out great.

Jackson with most of the men who helped bless him - we are missing 3 friends - Dan, who had to leave early and Steve and Lance who are in our ward and stayed for all of the meetings. I really like this picture.

I have more pictures, but you'll have to look on facebook for them...if you're friends with Chelsea, look on her page, she has lots of pictures of the blessing and they're all DARLING!

    Love to you all!!!

    xoxo
